Rachel Monday serves as the colorguard director of the North Garland Raider Band. Rachel went to school at the University of North Texas majoring in childhood education. During her time at UNT she participated as a member and captain of the UNT Green Brigade’s Colorguard. Later, Rachel became an assistant director of the Green Brigade Colorguard. During that time, she was a part of the team that founded the UNiTy Winterguard.

Rachel has had multiple successful seasons with previous groups. Her teams have competed in 4A/5A/6A UIL events, BOA, and WGI. Her groups also have earned many trophies in the NTCA Winterguard circuit. 

Rachel joined the North Garland team in 2023. Although new, she continues to find success in growing the Raider colorguard in numbers and passion!
